Abstract: Chaotic systems possess many distinct characteristics, such as deterministic but random-like complex temporal behavior, high sensitivity to initial conditions, fractal structure and long-term unpredictability, thus inviting the design of new encryption schemes with required properties, such as confusion and diffusion.
