Abstract: The development of a smart transport system requires a global vision of the environment. Hence, the creation of a model that will incorporate the collected data with a specific detail. Sensors placed at various strategic points in the road network generate data that is then collected using wireless and mobile communication technologies. Such as GPRS, or through a traffic simulation system , then stored in large databases. This data can be used to predict the evolution of traffic density.
