Abstract: The detection of credit card fraud is a priority problem for financial institutions and securing this form of payment is no longer an option but rather an obligation. Recent studies have shown that several machine-learning techniques had a good success rate in detecting fraudulent transactions [1]. For credit card fraud, addition constrains must be respected, like: short response time for real-time transactions, low rate of false alarms and the behaviour of the user of the card.
