Abstract: We consider the controllability of the one-dimensional degenerate coupled parabolic system with fewer controls than equations. We particularly investigate the well-posedness of the problem and then we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the null controllability by means of boundary control acting at some part of the boundary of the space domain.
