Abstract: We consider a static frictional contact problem in which the material’s behavior is modeled with a thermo-electro-elastic constitutive law, the contact is modeled with normal compliance and a version of Coulomb's friction law including the thermal conductivity condition. In the present work we focus on numerical simultions of the contact model introduced by Baiz et al. [2], and extends the results of Barboteu et al. [3] and Sofonea et al. [5] to the case of thermo-piezoelectric materials. To this end we first describe the numerical solution, which is based on the finite element method. ...
